Editing process H

During this part of the edit we thought at first it did not give off the feeling that he was in a dark time of his life and that he is very depressed. We resolved this by adding a filter called Vignette, we used this as it added a black faded ring around the side of the clip. This gave off the effect of sorrow and despair which is what we were aiming for.

With this particular clip we found that it was too dark to be able on the screen to see. We resolved this by changing the exposure and brightness of the clip. This still gave off the effect of despair and sorrow but the clip is now viewable.

In this particular clip we needed the scene to seem as if it was a flashback and it was a warmer and happier time of his life. We resolved this by adding the romantic filter, this gave the clip a more dream like state. Also we boosted the saturation and brightness of the scene, this is because it gave off a much warmer and happier effect to the scene, showing off the love and affection he had over the years.

When creating the opening title for the video we first left it as the original clip. We then decided it was too plain and need to have something to enhance the clip. We added a sound effect from the start of Paramore's hit song 'Still into you' as it gave the clip more impact. We then added a title at the bottom of the clip to give the effect of a tv music video with an introduction.
